Two drivers are installed in the WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS directory,

they are: kmiont.sys and kmemnt.sys.

The kmiont.sys gives I/O ports access rights only to the calling

application (in this case the ISaGRAF kernel for Win NT).

So the NT protection for the I/O ports isn't broken down.

The other applications in the system will not have the permission to

access the I/O ports. A key for this driver is added in the registry,

the key is the name of the driver (without the sys extension).

The kmemnt.sys maps physical memory into the virtual memory space of

the calling application (in this case the ISaGRAF kernel).

To remove them, simply delete them from their directory and delete

the corresponding registry keys. To disable them use the 'Devices'

control panel software.
